Urban X Mini DH went off with out a hitch. I was shitting it all week because it had rained for four days straight. Thought the event was going to be a wash out. I had forgotten what the sun and blue skies looked like because I hadn't seen it in so long. The sun finally came out Friday and race day we had perfect weather.


31 riders had pre-registered for the event but for one reason or another 14 riders couldn't make it. So that left 17 Sheffield locals to battle it out to see who was top dog on the day. There was plenty of banta and just as many crashes.....what else could you ask for in a unofficial race.

    yo trev thanks for organising the race it was awesome, hope you do more! I reckon more people would turn up though if you did one on fast track or dogs bolloks or something, XC descent is pretty fun but it isnt a popular one :P

    all the people Ive talked to have said theyd be happy to pay like a fiver or something ro race too, please do another one soon!

    Thanks a lot dude for putting the race together really enjoyed and gave me a teaser of what a race is like and now I want to do more :P thanks for the prizes and the silver plate, very organised the day just was awesome.

    just like to thank you for such an awesome event.
    i think you should try and get the fc involved and make things more official ande then we might have a race series going on!

    anyway you handled everything ace and it all ran so smoothly so big thumbs up haha

    wanted to say a massive thanks for the race on saturday, it ran nice and smooth and id definatly come to another

    i think itd be even better if you didnt have the qualifying but had 2 race runs instead of 1, then re-seed for 2nd race run, so effectively the same just the first run counts too

    Hi Trev great day mate even though I didn't race myself we both enjoyed it.Gonna give it a go in the next one see if I can give junior a run for his money.
