URBAN X 3

Overnight rain made the Diamond Back track very tricky....very tricky indeed. Additional rain threatened the event but it stayed dry (thank god)!! and the track dried out on every run. Still.... quite a few crashes and beat up bikes. I had a crash myself leaving me with a bruised rib and bent rotors. You know what they say..."no pain, no gain"

Once again I would like to thank all the riders who took part in the event, I would especially like the thank my good friend Jo, the only female rider on the day who came all the way from Manchester to take part. With out you guys these mates races couldn't be possible.

  1. yooo, was pretty good fun! just some constructive criticism which is only an opinion...
    - timing system could be improved and im sure other people will have better suggestions than me.
    - in terms of prizes, it was pretty cool getting a prize but i would have had just as much fun if it was just a race, the money saved could go towards anything else that would improve it, like timing equipment etc. Arthur

  2. Wicked event, only gripe was the timing- could do to have more than 1 person on track at a time- 30 second intervals maybe? It took a long time just to do seeding runs (like 2 hours?), just to speed things up and so we get more timed runs!

  5. was great fun, runs did take a bit longer than previous ones and there was a lot of waiting around, although there were also twice as many riders as the first two.

looking forward to the next one!
