URBAN X 5

Lady luck seem to be on my side when it comes to the weather on race day. Again we were blessed with a bright, sunny and warn summers day. Constant rain for over three weeks made the track a bog fest and tough going during practise runs. It would have been much worse if we didn't go up to the track the day before and drain all the big puddles.

"The Pud Run" as it is known is a new build in Greno and is for ever evolving week by week. As we were draining the puddles we noticed that the second gap jump had tripled in size with no B line around it....oh dear!!! A not so quick fix at it was sorted and well bedded in after the practise session.

As the racing started the track started to dry out a bit by the second race run and just about everyone was rewarded with quicker times. Like always there was plenty of "ban ta" which made for a good days racing.

  1. Good to see the track put to some use there fella. We came up on the Sunday to do a bit of digging / alterations and clear out some of the mud etc. On the second double we built it up on the Sunday before (didn't know a race was planned). Its taken us a good 9 moths to get it to that state as we had to clear a path through the logs. Any way we are up there pretty much every Sunday morning doing a bit so if any one wants to help they can. Next project is to make the berms and rock garden bigger.
