UX REMEMBER THE TROOPS III

Just want to thank everyone who came out and raced yesterday, was a amazing turn out even in those harendous conditions. You should all pat your selfs on the back because we raised a grand total of £1,522 all in. I want to give a special mention to Grant Marsden who raised a whopping £303 by himself.

 
I would also like to thank the team on the day who worked hard and braved the cold and the rain along with you riders to make this event happen. My girlfriend Karen Rouse, Steven Johnson, David Johnson, Denise Stewart, Timera West, Mckenzie West and the Big Dawg Simon Croft.

Can't leave out the sponsors....you know I love you guys and you really came through for me to make this event special. Avit Dirt, Wide Open MTB, MTB Girls Ride, MTB Chix & Trails, FR Crash Crew, Static Clothing, Loose Riders England, 50/01#all the lads, Halfords and of course Jennifer Wilson of Dreamcraft furniture for the wicked grand prize for the raffle.

Hope everyone enjoyed it and hope to see you all again same time same place next year....Oh one more thing, lets all send heeling vibes to Hannah Walter who broke her thumb in practise and couldn't ride the event.....oh!! final thing big up Andrew Brown who brought the gazebo which we all got under at some point.

I also have to mention that there was a record number of female riders at the event who braved the cold like the men and rode the same track as the man.....hats off to you girls.

To show my appreciation each female rider was given a set of baby dog tags to mark the occasion.
